Yesterday, I discussed Trump’s wall proposal. My article did not knock Trump necessarily rather, I questioned the voters who actually believe that a wall would get their jobs back let alone, could actually be built.
That was yesterday.
Today, I will analyze Trump’s Muslim ban. Undoubtedly, these two propositions propelled Trump to the unstoppable force that vanquished the Republican party. Before he uttered them, he was like a little deer lost in the woods. After he announced them, he was a raging tornado spinning through the sky.
This speaks a lot more about his voters than it does him. Generally, most of the voters who initially supported Donald Trump, as soon as he uttered these two bold ideas, were from similar uneducated demographics.
Now that Trump has snatched the Republican nomination, there are a lot of Trump supporters who have been forced to support him. After all, he is the Republican nominee. But the real die-hard Trump supporters have been supporting him ever since he jumped in the ring. They are the same Trump supporters whose juices began to bubble upon hearing his Muslim ban. Every night, after they turn off Fox news, these devoted supporters worship at a plastic altar of Trump.
Sure, he is guilty of being a Democrat for most of his life, but the majority of that loyal support group claim, “he is saying what needs to be said.”
One supporter told Time Magazine that, “We know his goal is to make America great again – it’s on his hat. And we see it every time he’s on TV.”
I hope future presidential candidates are paying close attention to Trump’s smooth moves. Gaining the Republican nomination could be achieved by uttering one or two brazen ideas. The louder you shout, the more of these votes will be yours. Regardless if these ideas are anything more than a snake charmer’s smoke and mirrors. Fortunately, because Democrats are typically more educated, according to the Center for Information & Research on Civic Learning and Engagement (CIRCLE), the Democratic nomination requires more grounded logic and assertions.
Just yesterday, after he gained the nomination, Trump reasserted his claim not to allow Muslims into our country. For those who don’t know, Muslims follow the religion of Islam. Like any religion in the world, Islam centers around peace and worship. Some of the sweetest and nicest people I’ve ever met are Muslims.
Trump’s disgusting comments help Al-Qaeda. The terrorist organization shows clips of what he says. The comments enrage so many people, that some enlist in the organization. Al Qaeda is another YUUUGGGEEE Trump supporter.
Essentially, Trump assumes that banning Muslims from our country would keep terrorists out. However, Non-Muslims make up the majority of terrorists in Europe. Of all the over one thousand terrorist attacks in Europe in the past five years, only 2% of them were done by Muslims.
Thus, it becomes a propaganda machine – fear mongering is the fuel that runs it.
Fox news and Republican politicians both stand to gain from the proficiency of this machine. They both have to make sure the machine is well oiled and running perfectly. Fear mongering gains Fox news viewers and money and it gets votes for Republican politicians.
Fox news certainly tries to persuade their viewers to hate certain ethnicities, like when Fox host Brian Kilmeade said “All terrorists are Muslim”. Of course, they are failing. Remember a year ago, when the Fox news “terrorist expert” Steve Emerson, apologized for making “totally inaccurate” statements regarding the Muslim community?
In Trump’s defense, he did make some exceptions. Not all Muslims will be banned from entering America.
From MSNBC’s Donald Trump Town Hall – Chris Matthews.
TRUMP: The two people in San Bernardino — I have, actually, believe it or not, I have a lot of friends that are Muslim and they call me. In most cases, they’re very rich Muslim.
MATTHEWS: But do they get into the country?
TRUMP: Oh, they’ll come in.
MATTHEWS: How do you let them in?
TRUMP: They’ll come in. And you’ll have exceptions.
Hence, if you are Muslim and you want to come into the country, you either have to be friends with Trump, or you need to gain his friendship.
Now that Trump is the nominee, all of those Republicans who have been hiding in the shadows in shame, are starting to come out of the woodwork to endorse him. I hope these politicians realize that by endorsing him, they are endorsing all of his platforms, every despicable word to come out of his mouth.
Endorse Trump, and you’ll be defending yourself come re-election time.
No democrat could ever destroy the Republican party as effectively as Trump has!
That’s one good thing he’s done.
